TO THE INDIAN POLITY, A WARNING

               
     

Mrs.Soniya Gandhi,

It was kind of you to show the culture and sophestication to talk to a few representatives of the Delhi protestors, in the morning.

However it seems it was hard for you, as you or Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, or the home secretary seem to lack these attributes.


• Could you please explain why a protesting group of people, completely non-violent, were lathicharged and tear-gassed? Or the water cannons?
They didn't even break a single police barricade yesterday, they pushed them aside.

• You are responsible for the police action. The police are supposed to preserve and enforce laws. Since when were they empowered or instructed to formulate laws at random and unleash them on the streets of Delhi, without even getting them legislated?
Right now violence has erupted. Because political parties and self declared "Jan-netas" have jumped into the fray. Make no mistake. We don't want any sudden press-releases stating that student protestors turned violent. People who've turned violent are not the young students who had been protesting all this while.

You politicize the issue, we protest harder. We are not to be sucked into the dirty political quagmire of conspiracy and deceit.

The actual protestors are still not showing violence. Don't brand them in the same class as that of the buffoons who are pelting stones, or overturning vehicles. All they have done is shout : "WE WANT JUSTICE." nothing more and NOTHING LESS.

Do take that as a WARNING. NO SHIT.
