And now Heena Rabbani Khar accuses Indian Army Chief and Indian media of "War Mongering" of all things!!
What is India supposed to do? Hmmmmmm.......
Why does the present situation reminds me of Ellie Wallach in "The Good,The Bad and The Ugly". 'Ugly Tuco' (Ellie) was caught unawares bathing in a bath-tub when a bloke broke in, six-gunner in hand. Dumbo decided to take a pause before executing Ellie with "now u r gonna die, revenge time etc etc..".
Tuco, naked in a bath-tub, brings his own out from inside the foam and blows the big mouth away. He steps out of the tub (camera showing his legs only!), goes out of the wash-room stepping on the blown off bloke. His one-liner with a smirk :
"WHEN YOU HAVE TO SHOOT, SHOOT!.... DON'T TALK."
This candyfloss peace talks are a complete sham, and it's time we start giving back PAKISTAN - a rogue state of with double-faced deluded bastards, a taste of their own potion OUR way. It's time to act BIG BROTHER and flex muscles around. Not a single word of members of the Pak civil society taking part in Aman ki Asha - if they are scared, they are not welcome. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
PAKISTAN is a rogue state. Exercising military rights is not keen to brute violence. In that case NATO is a rogue violent organization. So is USA, so was UK during Falkland war. What did Bush Sr do, Bush Jr do, and what is Obama doing? Still pulling troops out of Af-Pak? What is USA doing with drone operations? Have they all fallen in respect? And the people they are going after have not infiltrated USA's territory.
What has happened in India is not a cease fire violation. They infiltrated our territory in J & K. Military intervention is an extension of interstate politics. Playing football with a severed head of an Indian soldier is not military conduct.
Of course, Violence doesn't end violence. But if a slap in the ear is answered with a kick between the legs of a local hoodlum, the neighbourhood can be peaceful. India is not duty bound to produce martyrs by the dozen every six months. The Pakistani Army has got rogue elements.
It's not about invading some Pakistan as US, UK have done, it's about protecting our borders. They came 600 metres into Indian territory, killed 2 soldiers, mutilated their bodies badly, beheaded one of them
What I am talking about is no knee-jerk reaction. A minor knee jerk reaction would have wiped out the state of Pakistan after 26/11 in that case.
Being in touch with ground reality is important. While these "skirmishes" take place, 200-250 Jihadi terrorists are covertly exported across the border.
Why do countries have the military forces in the first place? To promote violence? Then all countries should fall in respect in our eyes. Should we denounce USA for drone attacks right now which is killing civilians too?
Indian citizens must be conscious of Indian polity without bring politically biased. AND react in an organised way when India's borders- OUR SOVEREIGNTY is breached.. by whoever,espeacially by a rogue state whose army doesn't know how to follow The Geneva Convention.
* The Indian Army is there to preserve democracy, not to practice it.
